When you find out your reptile is pregnant you need to act quickly. You need to get your incubator setup. You can go and buy one of those really expensive ones or you can make your own. Follow these instructions and you will have your very first hatchling.

1. You need to get a container which has small holes, so the air can flow through. I use the cricket containers, they work fine.
2. You want to fill the cricket tub up about 1 inch, with vermiculite or perlite, which you can buy online or at any garden shop.
3. Inside the tub you need to have a thermometer so you know the exact temperature. If you want all females you should incubate the eggs at 80 - 82 F. If you want a mixture of males and females you need to incubate the eggs at 84 - 87 F. If you want just males, you need to incubate the eggs at 90 - 92 F.
4. Spray the vermiculite or perlite with water, until moist. Once the eggs are being incubated you must moisen the vermiculite or perlite every 2 days. BUT NO NOT SPRAY THE EGGS or you will drown the embryo.

And you can either keep the incubator in the vivarium putting it in the right place for the right temperature, or you can put it in a small box, but you must still have some source of heat to keep the eggs at the right temperature.
